FOUNDER and DIETITIAN
Nicole Branch brings a unique blend of biochemistry, clinical nutrition, and lived experience to her work as a Registered Dietitian and functional nutrition expert. With a Master’s degree in Biochemical and Functional Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin and a background in chemistry, she approaches nutrition through both a scientific and deeply personal lens.
Before launching nooshe, Nicole served as the Lead Dietitian at an eating disorder treatment center, where she witnessed firsthand the profound impact that healing one’s relationship with food and body can have on overall well-being. Her approach to nutrition is rooted in science yet free from diet culture, emphasizing functional health, intuitive eating, and sustainable, weight-inclusive care.
Having lived with PCOS for 14 years, Nicole understands the complexities of hormonal health, metabolic challenges, and the emotional toll of navigating conflicting nutrition advice. This personal experience fuels her passion for helping women move beyond restriction and find a way of eating that truly supports their bodies—without fear, guilt, or frustration.
Nicole’s work extends beyond one-on-one counseling. As the Founder of nooshe, she is dedicated to creating spaces where women can step away from external pressures and reconnect with their bodies in a compassionate, empowering way. She also works as a consultant dietitian for skilled nursing facilities, ensuring patients receive evidence-based nutritional care to support recovery, chronic disease management, and overall well-being.
Her philosophy is simple: nutrition should nourish, not punish. Through her work, she aims to bridge the gap between science and self-trust, helping women build confidence in their choices and feel at home in their bodies. When she’s not working with clients, you’ll find Nicole experimenting in the kitchen, exploring new research on women’s health, or reading a new fantasy book.
